Full and Half Dalesman Bike route
The bike route is a 56 mile lap, 1 lap for the Half Dalesman and 2 laps for the Full. Much of the route has been used in the Tour de Yorkshire or the UCI World Road Races which means that it has a very good road surface. It's not flat by any means but there are no major climbs or severe gradients either. It takes in some typical Yorkshire Dales towns and villages and has spectacular views across the moors from Devils Elbow and Brimham Rocks. It's definitely not boring.
Quarter Dalesman Bike Route
A good mix of quiet twisty country roads with a section of more typical TT road running parallel to the A1. It's largely flat and fast. 2 laps.
Dalesman Run Routes, All Distances
The run course is a mix of short grass on the racecourse land, road and trail along the canal tow path. It is a flat course and is suitable for whatever footware you feel comfortable in.
The Full Dalesman is 3 large laps, two shorter laps and a short 1k 'Glory' lap into the finish.
The Half Dalesman is 2 large laps only.
The Quarter Dalesman is 1 large lap.
