About Us

Rob Wilkins started organising club triathlons as a club member and amateur triathlete, over 30 years ago. His first major event was the Stokesley Duathlon which remained a firm favourite in the triathlon calendar for many years (replaced now with the Yorkshire Duathlon held at Croft Racing Circuit)

In 2006 TriHard Events was officially launched with the introduction of more challenging and unique events in the Lake District including the Helvellyn Triathlon hailed as one of the top 10 toughest in the world according to Triathlon 220 magazine, and a unique bucket-list race.

Rob has been designing courses for most of his life and with his experience and knowledge, you can be sure of the most interesting, exciting, challenging and scenic courses. Trihard prides itself in organising good quality, safe and responsible events at a fair entry fee, accessible to everyone from first-timers to Olympic medallists!

Sustainability

Having considered the negative impact on the environment and to cut down on waste, together with a growing number of requests not to have one, Trihard have made the decision not to provide event t-shirts. There will be other freebies available at registration including socks made from recycled yarn produced by our event partner Presca, and sports jellies kindly supplied by our partner Mountain Fuel.
