BTA Membership
You do not have to be a BTA member to take part in this race.
However, you cannot take part in this, or any other BTA sanctioned race, without being the holder of a current BTA racing licence or by paying for a BTA day licence. This is for insurance purposes.
The entry fee for BTA full licence holders is £35
The entry fee for non BTA full licence holders is £35 (plus £3 for the day licence) ie. £38
There is no way around this. Licences will be checked at registration. Day licences will be issued at registration for non BTA members but must be paid for with the entry fee.
If you have applied for or intend applying for a full BTA licence prior to the event please pay £35 and mark "applied" on the entry form where your licence number is asked for.
Please pay the correct fee in order to save time and cash handling at registration.
Online Payment
Online payment will be via Paypal, you do not need to have a paypal account to be able to do this. Alternatively you can opt to send a cheque through the post.
Race Safety
The run section includes high fell-land. Even in summer conditions can be poor. All competitors will be required to take with them on the run section a map & compass (and the ability to use them) a set of poor weather clothing, a whistle and suitable foot-ware for a fell run. There are no feed stations on the run. You will need to take a drink and food with you.
