Declaration. I wish to enter the 2006 Helvellyn Triathlon. I understand that this is a physically demanding race and that I consider myself fit enough to participate in such an event. I understand that I am responsible for my safe passage around the course and for the safe keeping of my property. I agree to my cycle being checked and that I will not be permitted to partake in the race if it is deemed to be unroadworthy. I also agree that I will not be permitted onto the run section of the race without taking with me, for the entire distance of the run, a pack containing a whistle, map of the run route, and full weatherproof clothing. Suitable footwear for a fell run will also be worn for the run section.
