Following on from a successful launch in 2010, The Yorkshireman Triathlon Powered By Aqua Sphere is back in 2011 and will once again take place at the World famous Humber Bridge and include a fast yet challenging swim in the mighty River Humber.
With fast flowing currents and eddies the swim in the Humber isn’t for the faint hearted, distances vary according to tides but you can be sure of a unique and enjoyable experience. The challenges continue on exiting the water with a 500 metre run through the country park to transition where you’ll mount your bike and in a new route change cross the Humber Bridge before completing a fast loop on the South Bank and returning back across the bridge to T2. The run will once again be a multi lap route across the bridge.
The event is challenging with some rewarding unique racing experiences such as swimming in the Humber and cycling and running across the World famous bridge.
Once again Aqua Sphere will be providing some fantastic prizes for event winners and the events team are currently working with local hotels and businesses to provide athletes with discounts and deals on rooms and meals.
