It is with GREAT pleasure that NYP Tri club in association with The Black Sheep Brewery, Ripon Race Course and all of our event partners can now announce that the Ripon Triathlon will be staged on Saturday 9th July 2011
In 2011 we welcome The British Army for their Standard Distance Triathlon Championships which will be incorporated into this event.
At NYP Tri we are once again committed to deliver a quality Triathlon event and a weekend of family fun and entertainment for athletes, their families and friends and clubs who wish to participate in the UK’s biggest club run Triathlon.
We also invite clubs from around the UK to use Ripon for their own club championships. Club Secretaries please notify us if you wish to do this.
Your entry fee will include the following
* TOTALLY FREE family entertainment throughout the weekend including bouncy castles, bouncy slides and assault courses, a family disco, free face painting for the children, a climbing wall on Saturday evening, a kids dash race with medal and a safe environment for your children to play and enjoy a great weekend away.
* Top quality value for money catering throughout the weekend with a competitively priced ticketed pasta party tickets on Friday evening and BBQ on Saturday. There will be a fully staffed cafe throughout the weekend serving breakfasts from dawn through to coffee and cakes at dusk!

Subject: How to Book Ripon meal tickets
1. Enter the Ripon Triathlon – after adding all your race specific information and choosing your entry option you will be directed to the meal ticket option page and can add tickets for pasta party and bbq to the amount required, then you will continue to the payment page
2. If you have already entered Ripon Triathlon or you are not going to do the race, click on event merchandise from the Entrylive homepage or follow this link https://www.entrylive.com/Payment/eventmerchandise.asp . Ripon meal tickets are the top four options (at the moment as they are most recently added) or you can filter on Ripon Triathlon, add combinations of meal tickets as required and go to MAKE PAYMENT to be taken to the payment page.
3. There is a third option for people who have already entered the race, if they attempt to enter the race again they will be directed to the meal ticket option page.
4. You can even buy meal tickets if you are not competing in The Triathlon. Just go to Entries Live, the Yellow icon with the 2 fingers on the right hand side of the TriHard home page. Click on this then click on the yellow Click Here to list events. On the left of the next page you can then click on Register as New User. Go through this process and once registered select Event Merchandise either from the Entries Live Home or The TriHard home page. Wether you are a spectator, marshal, family member of an athlete or a race organiser it is possible to simply purchase meal tickets at the click of a button on line.
* A fully licensed Black Sheep bar serving a full range of alcoholic beverages over the entire weekend with Black Sheep Ale at subsidised prices.
* There will be a top quality expo at the venue throughout race day.
* On the spot results service provided by TriHard timing systems.
* A quality goody bag for every athlete INCLUDED IN YOUR ENTRY FEE. There are NO hidden costs
* FREE on line entry with no on line or credit card charges.
* Camping space for all those who wish to stay over on Friday and/or Saturday night, for which we will only be asking a nominal donation which WILL ALL go to local charities, local voluntary organisations and a charity in memory of Steve Newton. We will be asking, but not insisting, you make a small donation per tent/caravan/trailer tent or motorhome upon arrival in aid of all the worthy causes we aim to support. Our suggested donation will be £5 per unit ( tent, caravan, motorhome etc ) per night but you are free to donate as much as you like or nothing at all. If you can help us by providing a friend or family member to marshal on race day we would not expect you to make a camping donation from your party.
