Northumberland Triathlon & Relay

This is an excellent mid-season standard distance challenge, starting with a single lap 1500m open water swim set in the local area’s warm shallow water sporting lake (ideal for beginners), followed by a flat, fast bike course that enables athletes (and spectators as the races passes the lake) to see how their competitors are progressing due to the two out and back sections at both ends of the route – this should make great racing! The run is multi-lap on the footpaths around the lake which makes it spectator friendly race.
We aim to provide plenty of noisy support to help you make it to the finish with good humour and a smile!
The organisers will be facilitating coached sessions for all abilities by the regions leading open water swim specialist similar to 2009 – please register your interest on the entry form.
