The long awaited return of the Teesdale Triathlon a much anticpated event has come to fruition at last!
The venue is Teesdale Leisure Centre, Barnard Castle, DL12 8DS
A 400m pool swim,
Followed by a 28km single lap triangular road cycle, taking a fast section through to Staindrop village onto a “good climb” to the outskirts of Egglestone village, then a fast finishing descent into Teesdale Leisure Centre all on public roads.
A multi terrain, 3 lap, 5 km run follows, in the area surrounding the Leisure Centre. This format will be fantastic for family and friends to cheer you on.
The event is run under British Triathlon rules and operates a zero tolerance approach to drafting.
We are running a Try a Tri event at the leisure centre on 27th June for all entrants to this race. This is an ideal opportunity for you if you are new to triathlons and it will also incorporate the bike route so will be a good reccie for the race.

You will need to show your valid race license at registration, if you cannot you will need to purchase a Day License at an additional £3 cost
