An excellent open water triathlon set in a great location at Ellerton Water Park (www.ellertonpark.co.uk) with on site camping and caravanning. Near to the historic town of Richmond and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the course avoids the hills. Well worth a weekend trip.
800m open water swim – 23 mile bike – 5 mile run.
Lake swim (wetsuits compulsory) with good water quality. Fast and mainly flat bike course on a mix of A and minor class roads. Generally quiet. The run course is a mix of road, path and track.
Fast and efficient results provided by chip timing system.
Race start 9.15am – one wave only
