Closed Roads on silky smooth racetrack
A brand new event on a fantastic course. The
Oliver's Mount motorcycle circuit is described as a mini
TT circuit. It is in a beautiful setting and the tarmac
surface is silky smooth, perfect for racing on. It will
be closed to traffic for the race, so there are no potholes
and no traffic to worry about.
No pictures of pedal bikes on the circuit,
but this shows you what it's like. An old airfield it isn't.
Each lap is a fraction under 2.5 miles and includes a pretty
good climb. For those that know the circuit we will be going
in the reverse direction in order to avoid an awful climb
each lap. But it does mean a very steep descent with a sharp
corner at the bottom of each lap.
