The Organisers of this event are not liable to refund entry fees in any case. Applications for a refund are to be made in a timely manner, and in writing. This will then be reviewed and be considered by the club. No refund will be allocated unless the event is full, and the applicants position is re sold. The applicant will then be refunded the entry fee less a £5 administration fee. |

Refunds will be made minus a £10 administration fee up to 14/06/10. After this date refunds will be made minus £10 administration fee only if the event is full and a reserve can be found to take your place. Entries cannot be carried forward to future evnets. |

WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY
If you have to withdraw from the Ulverston Beginners Triathlon Training Day, this is our Withdrawal Policy:
From the moment we begin to organise an event, we start to incur costs. Your entry fee is invested into the cost of staging the event – everything from pool hire to hiring equipment & paying for insurance. Organising any event requires a considerable amount of forward planning, & expense.
We understand that on occasions, due to circumstances beyond your control, you may need to pull out from the event either before or on the day of the event. By then we may have used a considerable amount of your entry fee on event preparation, and so may not be able to refund your money.
If we cannot supply the event to you, you will receive a full refund.
However, if the event is fully subscribed and you do withdraw from the event with sufficient notice*, and we are able to replace your entry with another competitor on the waiting list, we may be able to give you a part refund (a deduction of £5 will be made for telephone & admin charges).
In the event of a withdrawal, a competitor must:
In the first instance, notify the event organiser via e-mail of the withdrawal. If it is possible to refund the competitor (ie the event is fully subscribed and there is a waiting list of competitors, who can take up your place), you will then be asked to send a letter of withdrawal & SAE for refund.
Event entries are NOT transferable. Any change to the data held on the computer system requires considerable time and cost in administration.

All entries will be treated as confirmed. Our cancellation policy enables withdrawal up to 1 calendar month before the race with a refund minus a 10GBP administration fee to cover fixed costs incurred by the organiser.
There are no entries via cheque payments.
