Alnwick Tri 2010 is technically full but there is a reserve list and traditionally more than 20 people on the reserve list have raced.
There are still places available for Alnwick Tri members. Enter on the reserve list and you will be contacted to pay by cheque and confirm entry.
500m Pool swim
23km bike through the fabulous Northumberland countryside
5km off road run.
The Swim is a radical departure from a traditional pool swim. This year we are having competitors swim 100m in lane 5, then duck under the lane rope and swim 100m in lane 4 and so on until 500m is completed. This means that tumble turns will not be allowed at the deep end but all competitors get out at the same point. It also means that there is a lane available for competitors to warm up in.
Due to the nature of the swim, it is very important to have the correct swim time. We recommend: - you take note of what swim time you declare
- you do a time trial just before the event and re-submit your time if it is more than 10 sec different to your original declaration.
