Standard Distance (1500m swim, 40km Bike, 10 km Run)

Start / Transition/ Finish Coniston Hall Campsite

In Coniston Water (Out and back course close to the bank south of Campsite)

Bike (40km)
Single hilly lap south from Coniston on the A593 through Torver to Broughton in Furness, were at the T junction with the A595 turn left towards Dalton in Furness. On the A595 in Grizebeck fork left onto the A5092 towards Greenodd. Climb over Kirkby Moor once decended and in the hamlet of Lowick Green turn sharp left onto unclassified road to join the A5084 back towards Torver and Coniston. On reaching Torver turn right at the T junction onto the A593 back towards Coniston.

Run (10km)
Out towards Coniston on the cycle path bridleway north of Coniston Hall Campsite. Coming out onto the Lake road near the School were take a left into Coniston keep on the right and bare fork right on the B5285 towards Hawkshead. Cross to the left of the road when leaving Coniston and use the wide path parallel with the road until you reach High Water Head were turn left onto track/ bridleway. At the T junction with the A593 turn left and return back towards Coniston. Retrace through town past school on track towards the Campsite then proceed on the out and back loop south of the finish on the campsite track.
