The 'Couples Challenge' - Northumberland Middle DistanceTriathlon & Relays

Date: 24/07/2010

A 2 lap 1900m open water swim in a shallow protected bay, followed by a flat, 2 lap 86K bike course along the beautiful Northumbria coastline, passing the village, making it easy for spectators to watch the race progress, followed by a 4 lap 21K run along the promenade and coastline and past experience suggests a European style crowd providing plenty of noisy support to help you make it to the finish with good humour and a smile!

This is an excellent mid-season middle distance challenge, making the most of the warmer sea temperatures, and the projected tide on race day should ensure calm water.


The organisers will be facilitating coached sessions for all abilities by the regions leading open water swim specialist similar to 2009 - please register your interest on the entry form.
