Newbiggin Bay Triathlon

750m open water sea swim in the protected bay at Newbiggin-by-the-sea, followed by a flat 3 lap bike course passing the promenade then a 5K run along the spectator-friendly promenade with some beautiful views along the bay.
An excellent open water triathlon (ideal for beginners) set in a perfect location.
There are taster and coached sessions (by an open water specialist)organised for both beginners and experienced athletes alike, to help get into the best condition and confidence for the race and make it thoroughly enjoyable day. If you are interested then please contact race organiser gwwright@btopenworld.com or attend the club swim session on Saturday (17:30 swim start) at Blyth Sports Centre.
