5k Run - 30k Cycle - 5k Run

Novice Race 5k run - 17k cycle - 5k run

Team Race (a cyclist + one or two runners)

Online Entry available now

Back again on the same course as last year. Based in Stokesley Town Centre the race HQ is in the Town Hall and the transition area is in the Market Place overlooked by cafes and pubs (no mud in sight).

Start and finish in the High Street. The runs follows an out and back route, is 90% road with a grassed turning loop. The cycle course is all on road with just a couple of undulations, but is mainly flat and fast. The main race is 2 laps ( lap one slightly shorter) and the novice race 1 long lap. The second run is the same as the first.

Team Race. New for 2009 a team race comprising a cyclist plus one or two runners. No excuses for the non running cyclists or vice versa.

Electronic chip timing will be used so results with full split times will be fast and accurate. Individual times can be accessed on the big screen immediately on finishing.

New to multi-sport racing? You are very welcome, duathlon and triathlon is a very friendly and inclusive sport. You certainly don't need to be an ultra fit athlete to to get a great deal out of it. You do need to be fit enough to get around the course naturally, but of more importance is the wish to challenge yourself and be prepared for the rather nice feeling of satisfaction and achievement when you cross the finish line. For us the last person over the finish line is equally as important as the first.
